On Friday, the Philadelphia Eagles received positive injury news ahead of their Sunday matchup against the Los Angeles Rams as two key players were cleared to play. Per NFL insider Tom Pelissero, defensive tackle Jalen Carter and tight end Dallas Goedert are available for the Week 3 matchup.

Carter has been dealing with a lingering shoulder injury that caused him to miss early training camp practices.

In the Week 2 win over the Kansas City Chiefs, Carter took part in 80% of the defensive snaps but was reportedly not fully fit.

“I think he (Carter) needs to round into better shape, both he and I have talked about that,” Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio told reporters on Tuesday. “He readily admits that and I think we’ll get more.”

Goedert has been managing a knee issue that has limited his participation in practice this week. After missing Week 2, he was upgraded to full participation on Thursday and is set to play against the Rams.
