The Geno Smith revenge game?

LIVE: Updates, highlights from Seahawks vs. Giants on 'Monday Night Football'

The now-Seattle starting quarterback spent a very brief period of his career with the Giants, appearing in two games and starting one during his tenure in 2017.

That "one" start though, was pretty important: Smith replaced a benched Eli Manning, who had started 210 consecutive games for the Giants before being sat by then-head coach Ben McAdoo. That proved to be a fruitless exercise, with Manning returning to the top of the depth chart just a few days later.

The spirit of Eli lives on in Daniel Jones, who is looking to make good on the $160 million contract the Giants entrusted him with before the season. So far, it's been a bit of a mixed bag for Jones and the Giants offense: A pair of blowouts sandwich a big comeback win over the Cardinals, leaving Big Blue as one of the harder teams to measure across the league.
