The Lions and Bears could each use a win to avoid a dreaded 0-2 start in their Week 2 clash at Ford Field.

Detroit carries weighty Super Bowl aspirations on the heels of two consecutive NFC North titles. But the Lions fell flat in their season opener, with a 14-point loss to the Packers.

They'll look for their dynamic offense to hit its stride in Week 2. Pro Bowl running back Jahmyr Gibbs ran for just 19 yards in Week 1, while star receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown had just 45 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, Chicago looked to be sitting pretty until an 11-point fourth-quarter lead evaporated on Monday night against the Vikings. Quarterback Caleb Williams began an anticipated sophomore season on a so-so note, tossing for 210 yards but struggling in crunch time.

First-year Bears head coach Ben Johnson now eyes his first win against his former team: Johnson had been with the Lions since 2019, serving as their offensive coordinator for the past three seasons.
