The Commanders will host the Raiders in Week 3 of the 2025 NFL season as both teams seek a victory after their Week 2 losses.
Washington fell to the Packers, who look like a legitimate Super Bowl contender through two weeks. To make matters worse, Austin Ekeler suffered a torn Achilles and was placed on the IR. The team's running back depth chart lists rookie Jacory Croskey-Merritt as the lead back heading into Week 3.
The Raiders didn't have any major injuries in Week 2, but they still lost to the Chargers. The team failed to score a touchdown as Geno Smith threw three interceptions. Ashton Jeanty had a slightly better outing with 43 rushing yards on 11 carries, improving his yards per carry from 2.0 in Week 1 to 3.9 in Week 2.
Still, the Raiders fell flat after an impressive Week 1 victory over the Patriots. Both of these squads are hoping to bounce back in Week 3.
