The Washington Football Team (1-2) will face the Atlanta Falcons (1-2) on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. The game will be televised by FOX.

Washington, which is in its second season under coach Ron Rivera, is coming off a 43-21 loss to the Bills last week. The Football Team had only 290 yards of offense, as quarterback Taylor Heinickie tossed two interceptions and Washington’s defense allowed 481 yards of offense to Buffalo.

Atlanta suffered blowout losses in its first two weeks of the year against Philadelphia and Tampa Bay, respectively, before it beat the New York Giants last week, 17-14. Quarterback Matt Ryan completed 27-of-36 passes for 243 yards and two touchdowns while Atlanta’s defense limited the Giants to 346 yards and just one rushing touchdown.

This will be the 27th meeting between the Falcons and the Football Team. Washington leads the all-time series, 15-10-1, though it has lost seven of the last eight meetings.
