A pair of NFC contenders tangle on Thursday Night Football tonight when the Packers welcome the Commanders to Lambeau Field.
Green Bay began its season (and the Micah Parsons era) with a dominant, 27-13 win over the Lions, the presumptive NFC North favorites. Playing his first game since a blockbuster trade sent him to Green Bay, Parsons wreaked havoc on Detroit's stalwart offensive line, helping the Packers notch four sacks.
Meanwhile, Jordan Love began his third year as the starting quarterback with aplomb, tossing two touchdowns on 16-of-22 passing.
Washington had a successful Week 1 via a 21-6 victory over the Giants. Jayden Daniels kickstarted a much-anticipated sophomore campaign with 301 yards of total offense and a passing touchdown.
Both teams head into Week 2 with plenty of momentum. Daniels will look to make another statement with a road victory, something he's accustomed to doing on the heels of two road victories in the playoffs last season.
