The Seahawks still have a chance for a postseason berth when they close out the regular season against the Cardinals on Sunday.

There are three scenarios for Seattle to make the playoffs:

  • A win over Arizona and a Green Bay loss or tie.
  • A tie with the Cardinals and a Green Bay loss and Tampa Bay loss or tie
  • Or, a tie and a Green Bay loss and New Orleans loss or tie.

The Seahawks had its two-game win streak snapped in a 30-23 loss to the Steelers in Week 17. Geno Smith threw for 290 yards with a touchdown. However, the offense sputtered in the second half and Seattle managed just three field goals.

DK Metcalf had 106 yards receiving on five catches, giving him 1,104 yards this season — his third 1,000-yard season in five years.

The Seahawks allowed 202 yards rushing — the fifth time in the last six games an opponent ran for more than 160 yards against them.

The Cardinals managed a 35-31 upset over the Eagles and improved to 4-12. James Conner ran for a 2-yard touchdown with 32 seconds remaining to seal the win.

Kyler Murray threw three touchdown passes to help erase a 15-point deficit.

Arizona signed offensive lineman Ben Brown to the practice squad after left tackle D.J. Humphries left the Eagles game with a knee injury.

Seattle beat Arizona 20-10 in Week 7.
