Week 5 of the NFL season went very differently for Los Angeles and New York.

The Rams pulled off a fairly commanding win over Seatlle, amassing nearly 500 total yards of offense en route to beating the Seahawks 26-17. The win pushed the Rams to 4-1 on the season and in second place in the NFC West.

The Giants, meanwhile, got blown out by the Cowboys 44-20 and were bitten mightily by the injury bug. Before the game even started, the Giants were without wide receivers Darius Slayton and Sterling Shepard. Then as the action got underway their injury woes continued. They lost running back Saquon Barkley and wideout Kadarius Toney to an ankle injury, quarterback Daniel Jones to a head injury and wideout Kenny Golladay to a knee injury at various points in the game.

Jones was replaced by former Buccaneers, Jaguars and Bears starter Mike Glennon while Barkley was replaced by former Broncos running back Devontae Booker. As of now, Barkley is slated to miss several weeks, while Jones will return to the field.

The Rams currently boast a top-10 offense and also one of the league's most balanced. They've got six different receivers with double digit targets, led by Cooper Kupp, who's third in receiving yards and fifth in touchdowns. They're also averaging 98 rushing yards per game, one of the better clips in the league.

The Giants, meanwhile, have been near the bottom in most offensive and defensive categories and at 1-4, sit at the bottom of the NFC East standings.
