The Buccaneers (2-0) will face the Rams (2-0) on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET at Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles. The game will be televised by FOX.

Tampa Bay, which is coming off a Super Bowl LV championship, won both of its games to start the 2021 season, its latest being a 48-25 thrashing of the Atlanta Falcons at home. Quarterback Tom Brady threw for 276 yards and five touchdowns while safety Mike Edwards returned two of the Buccaneers’ three interceptions for touchdowns in the contest.

Los Angeles began its season with victories over Chicago and Indianapolis, respectively. The Rams beat the Colts on Sunday, Sept. 19, 27-24, after recording 371 yards, 278 of which came from the arm of quarterback Matthew Stafford. He found receiver Cooper Kupp for nine receptions for 163 yards and both of his touchdown passes.

Tampa Bay and Los Angeles were each named playoff contenders by Sporting News NFL writer Vinnie Iyer and should provide a competitive game on Sunday.

“Do we need to explain this one? The Super Bowl 55 champions have the GOAT QB Tom Brady at his GOATest level and don't have any glaring weaknesses offensively or defensively, save for a few secondary issues that every team in the NFL seems to have,” Iyer said of the Buccaneers. “They will roll through the NFC South and are headed to the expected top NFC playoff seed as contenders.”

On the Rams, Iyer added: “The Rams are a more complete offensive team with Matthew Stafford and strength in the running game with different personnel than expected. They have lost some mojo defensively, but their top-level talent of Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey set the tone for a still dangerous Brandon Staley-less defense. They are no-brainer contenders.”
