The NFL season is upon us, and it feels like now more than ever people are interested in keeping tracking more than one game of action.

Whether it is watching RedZone, which focuses on teams that are within the 20-yard line on offense, or watching multiple games at the same time, fans are flocking to NFL Sunday Ticket. This service gives you access to every out-of-market game on the NFL schedule that isn't on a standalone service.

NFL Sunday Ticket used to be available through DirecTV, but has been accessible through YouTube TV since 2023. They feature several different payment options for those with and without YouTube TV, those who just want the service as well as another option for college students.

Here's how you can get the student discount for NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube TV.

NFL Sunday Ticket costs a pretty penny to get this year. If you are a YouTube TV subscriber, you can add NFL Sunday Ticket to your existing service, but it will increase your monthly bill. YouTube TV subscribers will pay $167.74 per month for the combo, and then it will revert to YouTube TV's base rate of $72.99 after four months. You can also add RedZone for an additional $10.99 per month.

For those who don't have YouTube TV, the price of NFL Sunday Ticket is four payments of $119.75, or $479.

For most students, this would be well out of their price range.  YouTube TV has them covered, though, and students at an accredited college or university can get NFL Sunday Ticket for $119. That is a saving of over $300, and they can still add RedZone for $10. While that is still not chump change, if students get a few friends together, they may be able to take advantage of the discount for the season.
