NFL odds, lines, point spreads: Updated Week 6 betting information for picking every game image

After favorites dominated in Week 4, going 10-5-1 ATS, underdogs barked back in Week 5, posting a 7-6 ATS record heading into Monday night's Raiders-Packers matchup. As is typically the case when betting on NFL sides, things tend to even themselves out. The week-to-week nature of the league always lends itself to some wacky results, like the Steelers coming out of nowhere to upset the Ravens and the Bears doubling up the Commanders.

Just two teams are on bye in Week 6 (Packers, Steelers), so NFL bettors can look forward to an appetizing 15-game slate. After Thursday night's Chiefs-Broncos matchup, we have yet another London game between the Ravens and Titans on Sunday morning. The Week 6 slate features some potential lopsided matchups, as three teams currently sit as double-digit favorites (Chiefs, Dolphins, and Bills). It should also have plenty of closely contested contests, as the other 12 games feature a spread lower than a touchdown.

Below, we'll look at the latest odds for Week 6 from BetMGM and offer up a couple of early bets to consider. Keep in mind these lines will move throughout the week as we get updates on the playing status of key starters and betting limits increase.

NFL best bets for Week 6

*Odds and analysis as of Monday 10/9*

Browns +5 (-110) vs. 49ers

While the 49ers look like the team to beat in either conference, we're backing the home underdogs in a potential letdown spot for San Francisco following its dominant win over Dallas. If there's a defense that can keep the high-powered 49ers in check, it's the Browns. Cleveland's stop unit has been the most consistent unit on a down-to-down basis, holding offenses to just a 30.1-percent success rate. In a game with a low total (over/under 40 points), points could be at a premium, so we'll hold our nose and back the well-rested Browns at +5 (-110).

Jaguars -4.5 (-110) vs. Colts

Bettors might be inclined to fade the Jaguars now that they're back in the States after consecutive wins in London, but we think this spread is a tad short. When these two conference foes met in Week 1, the Jaguars closed as 3.5-point road favorites. Fast forward to Week 6, and Jacksonville's only priced one point higher at home, likely against a likely Anthony Richdarson-less Colts bunch? Sign us up.
