Set with the beautiful backdrop of Union Station in Kansas City, the 2023 NFL Draft begins Thursday and will run through Saturday.

The draft is one of the biggest events on the NFL calendar, as teams look to build their futures. This year features at least two quarterbacks who look like they could be long-term stars, with two more who could vault this first-round class into elite status.

The Panthers have already fired the first shot for the draft, having traded a bevy of picks and receiver D.J. Moore to the Bears for No. 1 overall. With that in mind, all eyes are on Carolina, a team that has been aggressively pursuing a quarterback for several years. Behind them are the Texans, who got one of the NFL's hottest coaching commodities in DeMeco Ryans this offseason. And at four are the Colts, who have struck out with several veteran quarterbacks over the past few years.

The defending NFC-champion Eagles are picking 10th, whereas the last team in and first team out in the NFC (Seahawks and Lions, respectively) will be picking fifth and sixth. In that sense, we could see some seriously big swings within the top 10 due to their luxury.

Expect a chaotic first round as these teams look to shore themselves up and teams throughout the league try to catch up. The first round of the NFL Draft always has some exciting moments and trades, and this year looks to be no exception.

Here's what to know to watch the 2023 NFL Draft.

NFL Draft order 2023

The Panthers put themselves on the clock with a blockbuster trade with the Bears, trading up to No. 1 to ostensibly take either Bryce Young or C.J. Stroud. The Bears, meanwhile, moved back into No. 9 with a Panthers second this year, next year's first, and 2025's second alongside receiver D.J. Moore.

After the Panthers, the Texans will pick No. 2. It's from there the draft truly begins, as all eyes are on the Cardinals to see what they do ahead of the Colts, who it's no secret are looking for a QB.

The Seahawks and Lions are picking from a luxury spot at Nos. 5 and 6 due to their trades with the Broncos and Rams, respectively, while the Eagles are picking at 10th with a pick they gained from the Saints.
