Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs vie for a third straight win when they take on the upstart Jaguars on Monday Night Football.

After a slow start to the season, Kansas City (2-2) is beginning to resemble its typically dominant self. Mahomes tossed four touchdown passes in last Sunday's 17-point demolition of the Ravens, easily the Chiefs' best showing of the year.

Now, they hit the road to take on a surprise AFC contender. First-year head coach Liam Coen has Jacksonville (3-1) playing inspired football, coming off a gritty five-point road victory over the 49ers.

Fourth-year running back Travis Etienne Jr. has largely carried the offense; his 394 rushing yards through four games rank third-most in the NFL.

The Jaguars haven't defeated the Chiefs since 2009. They enter Monday's game with eight consecutive head-to-head losses against Kansas City.
