Fantasy injury updates Week 2: News on Drake London, Jaylen Waddle, Jauan Jennings, Isaiah Likely image

It's Week 2 of the fantasy football season, and some pass catchers are pretty dinged up.

There'll be news all through the weekend, but it's important to keep up with the latest updates in case there are waiver wire moves to be made, or early start-sit lineup decisions. Some of the guys you might be wondering about? Drake London, Jaylen Waddle, Jauan Jennings and Isaiah Likely.

All four of these players have fantasy starter potential when healthy. But there's at least a bit of doubt with all four.

Here, we bring you the latest news.

Drake London fantasy injury update

Drake London has been limited two days in a row at practice.

He left in the final stages of the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the Buccaneers with a shoulder injury.

Friday's status should help. If London goes full, he'll be no problem for Sunday night against the Vikings. If not, you'll likely want a backup on your bench from either Falcons-Vikings, Buccaneers-Texans or Raiders-Chargers, the three primetime games.

London got 15 targets in the opener from Michael Penix Jr., so he's a must-start if he plays.

Jaylen Waddle fantasy injury update

Jaylen Waddle began the week as a limited practice participant.

He's dealing with a shoulder injury, as well.

Waddle's Week 2 fantasy decision status likely will have less to do with his injury, which he returned from in Week 1 to keep playing, and more with the Dolphins offense.

Miami was putrid in a bad loss to the Colts. Waddle is a major risk to start just given the fact that the Dolphins could throw up another team-wide stinker.

Jauan Jennings fantasy injury update

Jauan Jennings missed the opening practice of the week entirely with a shoulder injury.

That's different than the calf problem Jennings had in the preseason.

If Jennings plays, he has to be downgraded due to Mac Jones starting at QB for the injured Brock Purdy.

Given the Jennings injury, it's probably safe to plan on sitting him this week unless you really have no viable alternatives.

Isaiah Likely fantasy injury update

Isaiah Likely has missed the first two days of practice this week.

Likely was held out of Week 1 with a foot injury, and he's trending toward being out again.

The Ravens have tight end Mark Andrews ready for his usual workload, and he's a TE1 this week.

Likely can be a borderline No. 1 tight end himself when fully healthy. If someone has dropped him in your league and you want TE depth, he could be worth an add if you have a big enough bench.
