If you've watched an NFL game in the last few decades, chances are, you've heard a report or interview from Erin Andrews.

After joining ESPN in 2004, Andrews later became a staple of Fox Sports' NFL coverage in 2012 and has been the network's top sideline reporter since. From viral interviews to in-depth breakdowns of NFL teams behind the scenes, Andrews has become one of the most well-known reporters in the business.

However, what football fans may not know about Andrews is her interesting background as a daughter of a teacher and fellow broadcast journalist. Additionally, Andrews is married to a former NHL star who has won a Stanley Cup.

Here's a breakdown of Erin Andrews' family tree.

Erin Andrews husband: Jarret Stoll

Erin Andrews' husband is Jarret Stoll, a former NHL player. The two have been married since 2017.

Stoll was born and raised in Canada, joined the NHL in 2002, and retired from playing hockey in 2016. Over his 14-year career, he played for the Oilers, Kings, Rangers, and Wild. He also won two Stanley Cups, both of which came with the Kings (2012, 2014).

Nowadays, Stoll works in the Kings' player development program and serves as an analyst on the team's broadcasts.

"I love both (roles). Just preparing for the telecast, everything is so different with different teams coming in with different lineups, there's just a different storyline for every game," Stoll told the NHL in 2017. "I love getting ready for that.

"For player development, I love watching hockey, seeing kids play, getting on the ice with them, seeing them improve, and seeing them eventually get called up."

According to People Magazine, Stoll and Andrews met while the sideline reporter was on the job covering a World Series matchup between the Tigers and Giants. Stoll "snuck his way into the dugout where Andrews was reporting from and introduced himself," and the two later got dinner and began dating.

Per Harper's Bazaar, Stoll sent a text to his friend, former NFL star and current broadcaster Michael Strahan, asking if he could set Stoll up with Andrews. When Strahan asked the sideline reporter, she initially wasn't interested, as she was focused on her work at the time. Eventually, Stoll made a move in person, somehow reaching the dugout Andrews was reporting from to introduce himself and set up a date.

In December 2016, Stoll and Andrews got engaged, with the former NHL star proposing at Disneyland's Club 33.

"We went there for Christmas to see the Christmas decorations, and we had a lovely dinner there, and he did it right there at dinner at Disneyland," Andrews told Good Morning America about the proposal in 2017. "I was bawling like a child."

The couple then got married in June 2017, with the wedding falling on Stoll's 35th birthday. Plenty of stars, mostly hockey players, attended the ceremony, including star writer and actor Larry David. Andrews described how David later used his experience at her wedding as an aspect of a "Curb Your Enthusiasm" episode:

Erin Andrews son: Mack Roger Stoll

Erin Andrews' son is Mack Roger Stoll. In June 2023, Mack was born via surrogate; prior to his birth, Andrews had been very open about fertility issues, as she underwent a 10-year IVF process during which she was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2016. She was pronounced cancer-free after two surgeries.

After being diagnosed with cervical cancer, Andrews said she began to think more seriously about having children.

"You don’t know if a guy is going to want to sit in with an oncologist and see, 'OK, so this is your cervix, and this is your uterus, and we are cutting out this part,'" she said, per the Today Show. "We hadn’t even been discussing marriage. We hadn’t discussed babies! It really puts things on the fast track for you — because you have an oncologist saying to you, 'We highly recommend that you guys do your embryos right now, freeze them.'"

Andrews and Stoll tried to get pregnant with IVF, as Andrews said in 2021 that she was on her seventh round of treatments.

The couple welcomed Mack via a surrogate in 2023, and they've shared photos of their young son since.

A 2018 Tampa Magazine story reported that Andrews' parents still live in the same house they moved into when they relocated to Tampa from Maine after Steven took a job with WFLA. The story also says that Andrews' father helped spark her love of sports.

In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Erin Andrews sent meals to Tampa General Hospital, per WFLA8, citing her father as a reason for her support for the Tampa area.

“My dad,” Erin said about her reasoning for supporting the hospital workers. “My dad is my everything. My dad was the one who introduced me to sports.”

During Erin Andrews' hotel stalking incident, Steve Andrews testified during a civil trial that she was a "shell of her former self," per ESPN, saying at the time than Erin was "afraid of crowds, afraid of people. She doesn't trust anymore."
