Eagles vs. Cowboys radio station: Channels, live streams to listen to 2025 NFL season opener broadcast image

The Eagles, the current Super Bowl champions, will host the Cowboys on Thursday night to kick off the 2025 NFL season in grand fashion.

After a 14-3 regular season that culminated in a decisive 40-22 victory over Kansas City on the greatest platform in the game, Philadelphia enters the contest with a lot of enthusiasm. Dallas, on the other hand, is still recovering from a 7–10 season in which Dak Prescott missed eight games due to a hamstring injury.

To make things more difficult, the Cowboys sent their top pass rusher, Micah Parsons, to Green Bay only last week. This is the first Week 1 matchup between these NFC East rivals since 2000.

The Dallas defense finds it difficult to collapse the pocket when Parsons isn't wreaking havoc, which allows Jalen Hurts to get some air and make big gains by connecting with A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. Eventually, Prescott and CeeDee Lamb settle into a rhythm, but their late effort falls short.

The Eagles control the pace with to Saquon Barkley's reliable ground game, and Philadelphia makes a strong start to the season with defensive slams from youngster Quinyon Mitchell, Zack Baun, and Jalen Carter.
