The defending Super Bowl champion Eagles will get their first real taste of football this season in a preseason match with the Bengals.
While we likely won't see many or any of the starters from either side, like Jalen Hurts or Joe Burrow, this game should serve as a great proving ground for some of the up-and-coming players on either team.
The preseason is meant as a great evaluation period for rookies, inexperienced players and those fighting for roster spots. We could see some stars in the making here, too, who could contribute to either side in the regular season.
