A former third-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2023, tight end Darnell Washington has begun ascending in recent weeks.
Washington didn't do much over his first two seasons in the NFL, but he has seen his role increase in recent weeks and posted the best game of his career in Week 6 with three catches for 62 yards.

The Steelers have a crowded situation at tight end with Washington, Jonnu Smith and Pat Freiermuth, so there's no guarantee Washington will get going.
