Perhaps the best matchup of Week 6 is reserved for Sunday Night Football. It's not always possible to land a great game in primetime, but this is expected to be one.
The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Detroit Lions in a matchup of Super Bowl contenders. The Chiefs have gotten off to a slow start, winning just two of five games thus far, but they're still considered major threats as long as Patrick Mahomes is under center.
The Lions are roaring. After a 27-13 loss in Week 1 to the Packers, Detroit has scored 52, 38, 34 and 37 points in four straight wins. While the competition wasn't stiff, aside from Lamar Jackson's Ravens, it's still a lot of points each week.
Kansas City has been an above average defensive team this year, but much of its success is its pass defense. The run defense ranks in the bottom third of the league, while the pass defense is in the top third. This could pose trouble against Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery.
