The NFL is going international.
Fresh off the Eagles-Cowboys game Thursday to open the season, the Chiefs and Chargers will play head-to-head in Sao Paulo, Brazil on Friday night. This will be the second NFL game in Brazil after last year's debut.
The league has made an effort to expand the NFL's fan base outside the United States, and there will be a handful of matchups across the world during the 2025 season. Games will take place in London, Berlin, Madrid and Dublin as well as this Brazil matchup.
The Chiefs are coming off yet another Super Bowl appearance, but they lost to the Eagles, failing to complete the three-peat. Patrick Mahomes is still under center and will make for a good matchup with Los Angeles' Justin Herbert. The two quarterbacks are capable of putting up elite numbers, making this an exciting AFC West game.
