The Chiefs and Chargers were the first game in the 2022 season to be flexed into a primetime spot, and with good reason: The two squads sit in first and second in the AFC West this year, a division that hasn't quite lived up to its billing this season.
The Chiefs had to find ways to recreate its explosive offense in the wake of the Tyreek Hill departure, and they may have found a few answers. First is ol' reliable in Travis Kelce, who has 393 receiving yards over the Chiefs' last four games. The second is Kadarius Toney, who scored his first NFL touchdown in Week 10.
The Chargers still present a hurdle for the Chiefs en route to another AFC West crown, though Los Angeles hasn't exactly taken that next step in 2022, either. A lot of that is due to injury: Justin Herbert has been without top targets Keenan Allen and Mike Williams since Week 7, but could have both back this Sunday.
