At 44, Tom Brady is twice as old as Chicago starter Justin Fields. And while he's not necessarily playing twice as well as Fields or like a 22-year old, he's pretty darn close.

Brady has long said he wants to play until he's 50, and so far through six games of his age-44 season, he's showing no reason why that isn't possible. The Buccaneers are 5-1 and firmly atop the NFC South, thanks in large part to what Brady's been able to do.

He's currently second in the league in passing touchdowns with 17 and has the most yards and completions of any quarterback thus far. He's done much of this without one of his top targets in tight end Rob Gronkowski, who's missed the last three games with internal injuries. The Bucs have a bottom-tier rushing attack but have largely made up for it because of Brady's production.

The Bears meanwhile, have struggled mightily on offense. They're currently .500 at 3-3 but rank 30th in the league in points scored and have failed to record 300-plus total yards of offense in four out of six games this season.

Bears fans were hoping former Ohio State product and first-round pick Justin Fields would be the future, but thus far, he's failed to live up to expectations. He got off to a fast start when he rushed for a TD in his NFL debut. He was thrust into the starting role against the Browns and in four games as the starter, has fumbled it three times and been sacked 16 times.

As a passer, Fields has completed just 53.5 percent of his passes and has 632 yards and two touchdowns to three interceptions.

The Bears are also thin at running back with David Montgomery and Tarik Cohen both sidelined.
