Anthony Richardson business ventures and philanthropy
Richardson's arrival in Gainesville coincided with his partnership with Gator Collective, Florida's NIL arm. He established a brand and clothing line during his time at Florida, first entitled "AR-15", then just "AR" amid concerns about messaging following a 2022 school shooting in Uvalde, Texas that left 19 children and two teachers dead.
Richardson, a Gainesville native, has also shown great interest in philanthropy, starting his own foundation in the hopes of "empowering youth and underserved communities through education, mentorship and opportunity." Where does Anthony Richardson live?
Richardson lives in Indianapolis, although the details revolving around his house are murky at the moment. He still remains tethered to Gainesville, the city where he first made his name as a QB phenom who starred on the Netflix documentary series, "QB1: Beyond the Lights."
His charity often works with children from his beloved hometown. He also was able to give his mother, LaShawnda Lane, the ultimate prize for the years of hard labor she endured to give Richardson and his younger brother the life the opportunities they deserved.
In 2023, Richardson bought his mother a house, fulfilling a dream he fashioned while cooking modest meals for his brother when Lane was working.
“They’ve always been with me and they’re pretty much the only family I really knew growing up,” Richardson told The Associated Press in 2023. “There’s been times we had to sleep on the floor, not having enough food, but not really complaining because my mom was grinding, trying to find a way for us and I’m forever thankful for that because it taught me how to go hard and never take what you have for granted.”
