The New York Jets need more out of rookie wide receiver Arian Smith in the Week 11 game against the New England Patriots.

A fourth-round pick, Smith has been quiet through the first half of this season but he has a golden opportunity to get more work in Week 11, as Garrett Wilson is out because of injury.

However, Smith is off to his typical start against the Patriots on Thursday night. Here's a closer look at what's going on.

Is Arian Smith playing tonight?

Yes, Smith is active, but he is not starting and instead the Jets utilized John Metchie, Tyler Johnson, Adonai Mitchell and Isaiah Williams instead.

Not a great sign for his chances of producing on Thursday night, but there's still time for him to get going.
