The New York Giants are one of the most intriguing teams in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Holding the No. 3 overall pick, the Giants face a major question in terms of which prospect they will select. Recently, New York has been linked mostly to Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter.
There's still a chance they land Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter if the Cleveland Browns make a surprise pivot. Though it's becoming a less likely scenario, the Giants could also use that pick to land Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders.
It also wouldn't be a surprise to see the Giants trade out of the No. 3 pick. However, with general manager Joe Schoen fighting for his job, it's difficult to see him passing on a blue-chip prospect if one is available.
While the NFL Draft officially begins at 8:00 p.m. ET, fans are well-versed in the ceremonies that take place. Included in that is the address from NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, which typically takes a few minutes.

Each team is allotted 10 minutes to make selections on Day 1 of the draft Thursday night. Even though it's widely expected that the Tennessee Titans will take Miami quarterback Cam Ward with the No. 1 overall pick, it's unlikely they will submit the draft card immediately.
Considering everything that takes place before the Giants will officially be on the clock, it seems likely they will make their selection between 8:30 and 9:00 p.m. ET.
