Taysom Hill is always going to be tantalizing in fantasy football.
This is a guy who qualifies at tight end yet also runs the ball and throws the ball.
But the way the New Orleans Saints are using him has made it a bit confusing in the early going to know whether it's safe to start Hill or not.
Hill made his season debut two weeks ago after returning from injury. In that game, he ran six times and gained negative-1 yard. The usage was good, results not so much.
Last week, Hill only got one carry. But he ran for a 1-yard TD.
Are you just chasing touchdowns by playing Hill? That might be the case.

The biggest problem right now is that the Saints haven't thrown to Hill yet. He has no targets through two weeks.
Head coach Kellen Moore clearly likes what Juwan Johnson is doing at tight end.
That leaves Hill as more of a gadget player, essentially running a Wildcat formation, just with slightly more threat of him to throw rather than if a running back was taking shotgun snaps.
On Sunday, the Saints play the Chicago Bears, a team that will be favored to beat New Orleans. An underdog script probably isn't favorable to Hill's usage at this point, either.
It's fun to hold Hill on the bench in case his role gets bigger, because there's no other TE-eligible player like him.
But for now, that's all he can be is a bench stash.
