Fox Sports is adding another legendary quarterback to its lineup of game analysts.

The Athletic's Andrew Marchand is reporting that the broadcasting company is signing longtime New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees to a multi-year deal to be a gameday analyst.

Brees previously worked with NBC before stepping away from the broadcasting game. Now, the future Hall of Famer is back in the booth.

Marchand's report indicated that the move could also signal an end to Mark Sanchez's time with the company.

"Brees, 46, will begin his Fox career a week from Sunday, according to the sources. His exact game assignment is not known yet. He will work as an analyst the rest of the year and is signed up to call games through at least next season," wrote Marchand.

"The exact terms of the deal are not yet known, but it is expected to be for multiple years. Fox and Brees have agreed and a signed contract is expected soon."

Brees is expected to be a color commentator, joining the likes of Tom Brady and Greg Olsen in Fox's stacked lineup.

"Brees is expected to team with play-by-play announcer Adam Amin, according to the sources. Amin’s former partner was Sanchez. Sanchez has been off the air for a month after being arrested over his role in a late-night fight in Indianapolis in early October," continued Marchand.

Brees last worked in television with NBC's Football Night in America in 2022, before departing to spend more time with his family.
