There's a lot of hype surrounding New England Patriots rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson. How much of it translates to real NFL impact will be tested when he makes his regular-season debut against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
However, Raiders players aren't overly concerned about the buzz. On Friday, linebacker Devin White showed no hesitation when discussing Henderson. He has confidence in his squad rather than intimidation by the rookie's talent.
When ESPN's Raiders reporter Ryan McFadden asked White about the challenges the Pats rookie could present, he replied:
"I respect his game, but I like us. … Hopefully, they use him a lot. Hopefully, we get to make a bunch of plays on him so we can show him 'Welcome to the NFL.'"
New England has high expectations for Henderson, believing he has the talent to develop into one of the league's top players.

In August, The Athletic's Jeff Howe reported:
"The Patriots are also ecstatic over rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson, so don't be surprised if he turns into their lead option."
Henderson had a standout career at Ohio State, rushing for 3,761 yards and 42 touchdowns on 590 carries over four seasons. He also proved to be a reliable receiver out of the backfield with 77 receptions for 853 yards and six touchdowns.
