The Miami Dolphins are playing their Week 11 game against the Washington Commanders in Madrid, and they'll have to do so without their superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

He's been out for the majority of the year after suffering a brutal leg injury early in the season, and he's since not suited up for Miami once. With his future in Miami up in the air, this might be Hill's final season with the Dolphins.

Ahead of the Dolphins-Commanders matchup, Hill made a change to his Instagram bio, saying he's "Unemployed." Whether this is in reference to his looming departure from the Dolphins or a trolling of ex-Dallas Mavericks general manager Nico Harrison is unknown.

How Tyreek Hill might've trolled Nico Harrison, or alluded to his departure from the Dolphins with Instagram update

The first reason why Hill made this change to his Instagram bio is that his future in Miami is over. According to Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports, the Dolphins are very likely to cut Hill before the 2026 NFL season.

There's a very clear reason as to why the Dolphins would get rid of Hill: the Dolphins' wide receiver is owed a lot of money if he's on the roster past a certain date.

Hill signed an extension, which made his 2027 cap hit a whopping $52 million. Miami was never going to accept that, so he'd either be cut, traded or had his contract reworked.

But after his injury and the looming $16 million Hill is owed on March 14, 2026, there's no reason for Miami to keep him on the roster by then.

Jones reports that, "League sources view it as next to impossible the Dolphins would guarantee such money when Hill won't be able to pass a physical at that point, meaning Miami would release the receiver before and 2026 dollar becomes guaranteed."

Hill's very likely to be cut by the Dolphins this upcoming offseason, which could be part of why he changed his Instagram bio to "Unemployed."

The other, more hilarious reason for this change is that Hill is trolling Mavericks GM Nico Harrison.

Shortly after being fired from the Mavericks, Harrison updated his Instagram bio to say "Unemployed."

Hill could be trolling Harrison, who made the insane Luka Doncic trade with the Los Angeles Lakers, with his own "unemployed" bio update. But only Hill knows for sure if his updated bio is meant to troll Harrison or not.

Either way, Hill is drawing attention despite not being on the field for Miami.
