The Miami Dolphins lost Tyreek Hill to a season-ending injury on Monday night.
On Tuesday, they added a veteran wide receiver to their depth chart to help replace him.
The Dolphins are signing Cedrick Wilson to a contract off the New Orleans Saints practice squad, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Wilson is a former Dallas Cowboys wideout who also spent 2022-2023 with the Dolphins.
The 6-foot-2 Wilson was originally a sixth-round pick by the Cowboys out of Boise State in 2018.
He spent his first three seasons with Dallas, catching 67 passes for 837 yards and eight touchdowns in 38 games with the Cowboys.

From there, it was two years in Miami for Wilson. With the Dolphins, he played 30 games and had 34 catches for 432 yards and three scores.
Wilson spent the 2024 season with the Saints, playing in 15 games and catching 20 passes for 211 yards and a touchdown.
He hasn't played in regular season action yet in 2025.
Wilson also has wildly impressive passing stats on trick plays in his NFL career. He's 6-for-6 for 132 yards and two touchdowns on throws, including a 21-yard TD on his most recent pass in 2024 for the Saints.
The Dolphins have Jaylen Waddle, Malik Washington and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine atop their WR depth chart now, but there's room for someone like Wilson to potentially break through after Hill's injury.
