The Miami Dolphins and New Orleans Saints appear set to play their Week 13 game in less than ideal weather conditions, at least for part of the contest.
According to David Furones of the Sun Sentinel, it is raining hard at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami before kickoff on Sunday.
"Crazy downpour right now around Hard Rock Stadium ahead of Dolphins-Saints," Furones reported.
According to Accuweather.com, thunderstorms are expected to remain in the area through until about 3 p.m., when the weather is supposed to clear up.
That means the inclement weather will impact at least the first half of the contest, and there is also a chance at a delay if there's lightning and thunder in the area.
Luckily, the wind isn't going to be too bad, as gusts aren't expected to exceed 18 MPH and the wind is holding steady at 14 MPG, which isn't much of a threat to kickers.

What is a threat is the slick conditions, which will also present a problem for both quarterbacks and pass-catchers.
Not only is a wet ball harder to grip for signal-callers, which could impact their throws, it's also harder to for wide receivers and tight ends to catch, which may result in more drops and fumbles.
This is good news for running backs, though.
Granted, the fumble risk is higher, but the Saints and Dolphins might be forced to lean on their rushing attacks more in this game if their passing attacks can't overcome the conditions.
Now, none of this is to say you should definitely sit all fantasy-relevant players in this contest, but if you're 50/50 on a decision between a player in this game and someone else, you might be wise to go with the latter.
