The Miami Dolphins are 1-4 to start the season, and look to be one of the top sellers at the trade deadline. After dropping a heartbreaker to the Carolina Panthers, 27-24, the Dolphins' chances of selling at the deadline significantly increased.
With four weeks to go before the deadline, trade rumors are beginning to pick up steam. While Miami won't be able to move Tyreek Hill anymore, they will have a couple of other players ready to be moved.
According to a new report from NFL insider Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Dolphins are drawing trade interest in veteran pass rusher Bradley Chubb ahead of the deadline.
Dolphins drawing Bradley Chubb trade interest around the NFL
"Among the edge players who have garnered interest are Titans' Arden Key, the Dolphins' Bradley Chubb, and the Packers' Kingsley Enagbare," Rapoport reports.
Miami, at 1-4, is one of the more obvious sellers at the upcoming trade deadline. Barring a drastic turnaround, the Dolphins will have plenty of their players receiving calls in the coming weeks.
Chubb, a veteran edge defender who is signed with the Dolphins through the 2027 NFL season. He has cap hits of $12.3 million this season, and then $31 million in 2026 and 2027.
While Miami would deal with some dead cap in 2025 if they moved him at this year's trade deadline, they would save a lot of money in the future if they parted with him.
The 29-year-old edge rusher didn't play in 2024 with an injury, and so far through five games in 2025, he has one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, four sacks, 14 tackles, four quarterback hits, and four tackles for loss, all while playing 67 percent of the snaps.

The two-time Pro Bowl pass rusher would be a hot commodity at the deadline if Miami decides to move him, especially with how he's played so far this season.
With this report from Rapoport, that teams are interested in trading for Chubb at the deadline, Miami could accrue a solid return for the veteran edge defender.
Miami has some time to weigh its options, and since he's under contract beyond 2025, they don't need to move on from him at this year's deadline. They can hold out for a strong deal or decide to trade him in the offseason after a strong 2025 season.
But, regardless of what the Dolphins decide to do, they aren't expected to make any decision just yet, as they and other teams with pass rush trade targets are expected to wait until closer to the deadline before making any moves.
Chubb could be on the way out of Miami after four years with the team, one of which never began in 2024, and another as a mid-season trade pickup from the Denver Broncos. Of the Dolphins players who could be moved, Chubb is a name to watch at the 2025 NFL trade deadline.
