The Los Angeles Chargers welcomed back rookie running back Omarion Hampton this week.
Hampton had been out since he was placed on injured reserve in Week 6 due to an ankle injury that required surgery.
Hampton was cleared to practice in Week 13 and was finally cleared to take the field in Week 14 against the Philadelphia Eagles.
However, Hampton did not get the start on Monday night. Here's why.
Is Omarion Hampton playing tonight?
Yes, Hampton is active and healthy, he just didn't get the starting nod against the Eagles. Instead, it was Kimani Vidal, who has been electric in place of Hampton.
This isn't entirely surprising, as the thought has been that Hampton would have a limited workload in his first game back after he missed so much time.
It shouldn't be long before we see Hampton, but don't be shocked if Vidal ends up getting more touches than him on Monday night.
