While many doubted what Keenan Allen had left in the tank upon signing with the Los Angeles Chargers, the veteran has shown he has plenty.
Allen entered Week 14 with 622 receiving yards, which amounts to the second-most on the team. Making that more impressive is the fact that Allen has plenty of competition for targets.
Unfortunately, all that competition is impacting him early on in the Week 14 game against the Philadelphia Eagles, as Allen is off to a slow start.
Is Keenan Allen playing tonight?
UPDATE: Allen is finally on the board with his first catch with about 30 seconds left in the second quarter.
UPDATE: We have a little under four minutes left in the game and Allen still doesn't have a single target. It has been a rough night overall for the Chargers' passing attack outside of a few big plays, so no surprise Allen hasn't done anything.
Yes, Allen is active and healthy, he just hasn't been targeted yet.
Quarterback Justin Herbert only targeted one wide receiver on the opening drive and it was all about Los Angeles' running backs instead.
Hopefully Allen gets going soon.
