The Las Vegas Raiders decided not to select Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders in the 2025 NFL Draft. To be fair, every team did, time and time again, before the Cleveland Browns selected him at No. 144 overall.

However, the Raiders were always seen as a landing spot even with Geno Smith under contract.

The discourse has been going on since the NFL Draft, especially with Sanders' slide being the biggest in recent memory.

Recently, Tom Brady, who is a minority owner with the Raiders, admitted he was not involved in the Raiders decision, via an episode of Logan Paul's Impaulsive podcast.

"I wasn't a part of any evaluation process. That's the problem with media, anybody can say whatever the [expletive] they want and get away with it. It's kind of unfortunate because they're actually used to be a lot of integrity in media. There's way less now because everyone needs crazy voices to get heard."

Here's what Bayless tweeted out during the NFL Draft regarding Brady.

During a recent episode of The Skip Bayless Show, he accused Brady of lying about that fact.

"Tom your nose is going to grow. I defended you all through Deflategate," Bayless said. "Now, I gotta admit, you're making me wonder. If you dodged the truth about Shedeur would you have...Come on, Tom, just own it. If you don't believe in Shedeur as an NFL quarterback for whatever reason, just own that."

"Don't be a two-faced hypocrite," Bayless said. "I'm pretty sure Shedeur is on to you now."

Bayless said Brady didn't call him out specifically, but sure made it clear he wants him to.

"In the end, it wasn't like Brady actually called me out because he didn't call me out by name on the Jake Paul podcast...Tom did it with the big, broad brush. He condemned the media. He took the cowardly way out. Just take me on, I don't care. I can take it because I'm right."

So, did Brady really not have any part of the evaluation process? Or did the Raiders in general have no interest in Sanders? Nonetheless, the back and forth between Bayless and Brady seems to be still going on.
