The Las Vegas Raiders have a lot of new faces in town for the upcoming 2025 NFL season. Pete Carroll is the new head coach and Geno Smith is the team's new quarterback in a new chapter for the franchise.

However, one mainstay has been star defensive end Maxx Crosby. After playing every single game in his first five NFL season, Crosby missed the final five games of the 2024 season after undergoing surgery due to his ankle.

But, the good news is that Crosby is feeling great ahead of OTAs and training camp, per NFL.com

  • DE Maxx Crosby, who underwent ankle surgery in December, says he's "100% healthy" and has had an "incredible offseason so far."

That's certainly encouraging news for the Raiders. When healthy, Crosby is undoubtedly one of the top at his position.

In 2024, he had 28 solo tackles with 7.5 sacks in 12 games. In 2022 and 2023, Crosby had double-digit sacks in each year with a career-high 14.5 in 2023.

In May, Crosby spoke about his recovery process, per Coral Smith of NFL.com.

"The rehab literally started in December, I literally didn't have an offseason, I've been here the whole time. It's been five months of hardcore training and rehabbing every single day, and sacrificing even more [to see] how can I go to an even higher level."

Now, all signs point to Crosby being fully ready to go, which should be a scary sight for opposing teams.
