Coming off what was an emotional upset victory over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 2, the Las Vegas Raiders laid an absolute egg against Andy Dalton and the Carolina Panthers in Week 3, losing 36-22.

Dalton got the start after the Panthers benched Bryce Young earlier in the week and it was immediately clear that he was an upgrade. The Panthers drove right down the field for a touchdown on their first drive and never looked back.

The Panthers had a 21-7 lead in the first half and their defense finished things off in the final two quarters. In all, Dalton completed 26-of-37 passes for 319 yards and three touchdowns to no interceptions.

This was not Dalton's first rodeo when it comes to dominating the Raiders. Dalton entered the game with a 3-0 mark lifetime as a starter versus the Silver and Black, posting 708 passing yards and seven touchdowns to no picks in those contests.

After Sunday's result, Dalton is now 4-0 versus the Raiders during his career and has thrown for over 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns in his starts. If Dalton had played every game of his career against the Raiders, he might've been the greatest quarterback in NFL history.

We've been reading all about future Hall of Famer Tom Brady's bid to buy a stake in the Raiders, but Dalton should be given a share of the team by default after completely owning Las Vegas during his career.

The Raiders will look to get back on track in Week 4 when they host the Cleveland Browns at Allegiant Stadium.
