The Kansas City Chiefs always rely on Travis Kelce, but that has a chance to be more true than it has been in a while this Sunday.
That's because these Chiefs are shorthanded. They're up against the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, and they're without Xavier Worthy.
Worthy, the speedy second-year wide receiver, was injured in Week 1 on the third offensive snap when Kelce ran into him. Worthy dislocated his right shoulder, and he's out for Week 2.
That leaves a receiving corps led by Hollywood Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster, but more importantly, it leaves a pass-catching group led by Kelce to try and lift up Patrick Mahomes and avoid an 0-2 start.

Is Travis Kelce playing today?
Yes, Chiefs superstar tight end Travis Kelce is playing in Week 2 for the Super Bowl rematch against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Kansas City and Philly are slated to kick off at 4:25 p.m. ET (3:25 p.m. CT), with the game to be broadcast nationally on Fox.

Travis Kelce fantasy outlook
Travis Kelce is a start for fantasy football Week 2.
He had just two catches in the season-opening loss to the Chargers, but one was an impressive catch-and-run for a touchdown.
With a gameplan designed knowing Worthy would likely be out, the Chiefs surely will look to involve Kelce early and often.
The Chiefs will likely struggle to run the ball against the Eagles, so short passes to Kelce could serve as an extension of the run game and make him especially valuable in PPR formats.
