The venue is reportedly set for the most anticipated American wedding of 2026.
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and pop star Taylor Swift plan to exchange vows at the bride-to-be's $17.75 million Rhode Island retreat, according to Realtor.com columnist Kelsi Karruli.
“They are getting married next summer in Rhode Island. She is in a hurry to have children," a source told the outlet.
Rhode Island Governor Dan McKee would welcome the news, as he has shared that he hopes the speculation about a Rhode Island wedding is accurate.
“Rhode Island has some of the best wedding venues in the world, just saying," McKee wrote in an X post.
Swift purchased the home for $17.75 million in 2013. She has since made a tradition of hosting large parties for July 4.
The residence, located in Watch Hill in Westerly, is known locally as "Holiday House." It sprawls across 11,000 square feet and features seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms. It is currently undergoing extensive renovations and is expected to be completed by next summer.
The celebrity couple announced their engagement in an Instagram post on Aug. 26. The announcement came nearly two weeks after they were engaged, according to Kelce's father, Ed.
Swift and Kelce's relationship became one of the most talked-about topics in sports on Sept. 24, 2023, when Swift attended a Chiefs game. Kelce has toured the world with Swift as part of "The Eras Tour," and the pop star has cheered on Kelce at many games, including two Super Bowls.
