Jimmy Fallon, Taylor Swift interview explained

Taylor Swift revealed new information about her proposal and the Super Bowl halftime show on her appearance with Jimmy Fallon on the "Tonight Show."

First, Swift told Fallon about when Kelce proposed, which occurred right after the two recored her episode of the "New Heights" podcast. Swift said that Kelce had the windows of their house tinted so she couldn't see him set up the proposal in the backyard.

"For Travis, I think the podcast was like a distraction, sort of ruse, to keep me from not looking outside the windows of the house," she said.

Swift added that the Chiefs tight end was noticeably nervous, which was unusual, but she just thought it was for the podcast.

"I've never seen this dude nervous, ever," she said. "He's a, professionally, not a nervous person."

Once the recording ended, Kelce asked if she wanted to walk around the backyard, which is when he proposed.

Additionally, Swift and Fallon touched on rumors surrounding Swift and the Super Bowl halftime show, which went to Bad Bunny this year. Swift said she wouldn't want to do the halftime show while Kelce is still playing.

"The whole season, I am locked in on what [Kelce] is doing on the field," she said. "Could you imagine if he is out there every single week, putting his life on the line, doing this very dangerous, very high-pressure, high-intensity sport, and I'm like 'I wonder what my choreo should be?'"

Swift's full appearance on "The Tonight Show" featured more talk about her new album as well as other parts of her social life. But the two most important parts regarding her relationship with Kelce involved her engagement and the halftime show.
