A little bit of an odd start in Brazil, as the Kansas City Chiefs' offense was bottled up the first half, and Travis Kelce hurt his own teammate.

While not on purpose, the biggest news of the first half was Kelce running into Xavier Worthy and sending him to the locker room with a shoulder injury.

Worthy will not return in the game, and Kansas City is looking for answers as they head to the locker room down 13-6 to the Los Angeles Chargers.

A pair of Harrison Butker field goals was all the Chiefs could muster before half. The second one was as the clock expired to end the first half from 59 yards.

At the half, Mahomes was 12 for 21 for 98 yards. Tyquan Thornton was the top target for the Chiefs with two receptions and 41 yards. Travis Kelce had just one catch for 10 yards in the first half.

Los Angeles saw Justin Herbert throw it 18 times for 171 yards. His touchdown pass to Quentin Johnston is the difference in the game.

Omarion Hampton, the rookie running back from North Carolina, had 8 carries for 31 yards in the first half.
