The Kansas City Chiefs are in Brazil for their season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers. For many players, including star defensive tackle Chris Jones, this is their first visit to the South American country.

In just a few days, most have grown fond of Brazil. The game is scheduled for Friday, but even before kickoff, Jones has already declared he plans to return. It will likely be a solo trip, and he has already established a connection with the Brazilian president.

"It's my first time in Brazil, and I’m definitely coming back," Jones told reporters on Thursday. "I was just telling the president out there, this is definitely a trip I'll be making back. I don't know if it's going to be with or without the team, but I'm coming back. And I'm super excited for the opportunity."

A few days earlier, Jones said he's bringing two TVs and video games on the trip.

"Just like you do any other trip, just this trip is a little longer," Jones said on Monday. "So, I'm gonna bring a couple TVs, video games and prepare myself mentally and be ready to go."

Chris Jones and the Chiefs aim for yet another Super Bowl run. Falling short of a three-peat in 2024 was a big blow. This year, the Chiefs aim to show the NFL that their dynasty is far from over.
