The Kansas City Chiefs' 20-10 loss to the Houston Texans now sees Andy Reid's team be the center of the football universe, and not for a good reason.

At 6-7, the famed Chiefs dynasty, for some, is over, with Kansas City being a shell of the team we have become accustomed to over the years. Mistakes we have never seen them make, plays that are usually made, aren't anymore, and self-inflicted wounds have plagued this team all year.

And after Sunday night's loss to the Texans, two-time Super Bowl champ and now ESPN analyst Damien Woody has a message for Chiefs Kingdom.

"I'm here to tell ya, stick a fork in the Chiefs, they are done," Woody said on ESPN's GetUp. "The dynasty is over, it's been a hell of a run, but the Chiefs have been playing with fire now for about two or three years, it's come to a head this year where guys aren't making plays and plays that are there to be made, they just aren't making them."

Woody speaks truth on 2025 Chiefs

We only have to look back at the Chiefs' last two games to perfectly sum up their 2025 season.

Against the Dallas Cowboys in a 31-28 loss, penalties killed the Chiefs, but Travis Kelce had a crucial drop in the fourth quarter.

And against the Texans, Kelce again had a costly drop, as did Rashee Rice, which halted drives and made life difficult for the offense. Both are usually so reliable in clutch moments, but much like the rest of the team this season, as Woody explained, when a play was there to be made, they didn't make it.

It is worth remembering that Tom Brady didn't go to the Super Bowl every year, so it is hardly the end of the road for Patrick, but this has been a season from hell in every aspect, and Sunday night's loss, in the worst way possible, summed it up to perfection.
