The Indianapolis Colts continue to be linked as a trade destination for a disgruntled All-Pro pass-rusher.
Amid the contract dispute between edge rusher Trey Hendrickson and the Cincinnati Bengals, there have been plenty of proposals floated to bring the 31-year-old to the Circle City.
The latest proposal from Bleacher Report's Kristopher Knox has the Colts sending a pair of Day 2 selections to Cincinnati in exchange for Hendrickson.
Trey Hendrickson trade proposal
Bengals Get: 2025 3rd-round pick (No. 80), 2026 second-round pick
Colts Get: Edge Trey Hendrickson
Giving up that draft capital for Hendrickson isn't a poor idea at all. The contract demands are likely what would make the Colts hesitate.
"A pair of Day 2 selections may not be quite what Cincinnati wants, but it's a fair offer for a pass-rusher who is terrific but who will also turn 31 in December," Knox wrote.

Hendrickson is reportedly seeking a deal between $30-35 million per season. It's a contract that the Colts could theoretically afford. Whether general manager Chris Ballard would be willing to pay that much for an aging star is an entirely different conversation.
It's an unlikely scenario for the Colts, but anything can happen during the NFL Draft.
