The Green Bay Packers have dealt with no shortage of injuries to their pass-catchers this season and wide receiver Romeo Doubs is just the latest concern.
Doubs suffered a chest injury in the Week 10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles that led to him leaving the contest early.
The Packers can ill-afford to lose Doubs, as the team is already without tight end Tucker Kraft (torn ACL) and wide receiver Jayden Reed (broken clavicle), both of whom are on injured reserve. Rookie wide receiver Matthew Golden (shoulder) is also dealing with an injury that forced him to miss Week 10.
However, there is some good news to report on Wednesday and it comes from head coach Matt LaFleur.
Will Romeo Doubs play in Week 10?
LaFleur told reporters on Wednesday that Doubs "should be good to go" for Week 11, according to The Athletic's Matt Schneidman.
LaFleur did not go into specifics about Doubs' issue, but clearly it isn't serious enough to keep him out on Sunday.
Doubs enters Week 11 ranked second on the Packers in receiving yards behind Kraft, and he's first among Green Bay wide receivers with his 446 yards. His four touchdowns are also tops at the position.
If Golden remains sidelined, the Packers will need more from Doubs and fellow wide receivers Dontayvion Wicks and Christian Watson. Green Bay will also be hoping for more out of tight end Luke Musgrave with Kraft on the shelf.
