The Green Bay Packers didn't see this coming.
Tight end Tucker Kraft hurt his left knee at practice on Thursday.
It "doesn't appear to be a long-term issue," writes The Athletic's Matt Schneidman.
ESPN's Rob Demovsky adds, "the Packers have reason to believe it's not a season-ending type injury."
There's a lot in between season-ending and the best-case scenario when it's only Week 3.

Kraft is coming off the best game of his career.
Last week on Thursday Night Football against the Commanders, Kraft had six catches for 124 yards and a touchdown. That included a 57-yard catch and run.
Only once did Kraft not catch a target from Jordan Love. His touchdown might've been his easiest grab after some misdirection left Kraft wide open for an easy pitch and catch.
He had more than half of his yards after the catch.

Kraft led the NFL among tight ends in YAC in 2024, so it's no surprise he was running hard with the ball in his hands last Thursday night.
The 6-foot-5 tight end was also measured with the fastest top-end speed in the NFL a season ago by Next Gen Stats.
But right now, he'll have to take a seat, at least temporarily.
It's a sudden bummer in Green Bay.
