The Lions are coming off two consecutive NFC North championships including a 15-2 finish in 2024. But their campaign ended in disappointment with a 45-31 upset loss to the Commanders in the divisional round.

While the Lions' offense scored the most points in the league last year, they will now have to overcome the loss of both their offensive and defensive coordinators, Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn. The duo have left for head coaching roles at the Bears and Jets, respectively.

Head coach Dan Campbell remains in charge of a roster that includes stars like quarterback Jared Goff, running back Jahmyr Gibbs, and returning defensive end Aidan Hutchinson. New coordinators John Morton and Kelvin Sheppard bring continuity and align with Campbell’s aggressive philosophy.

The Lions know it will be difficult to match their regular-season domination of 15 wins, but Detroit looked poised for another strong season. They must navigate the second-toughest schedule in the league while competing in one of its most brutal divisions in NFL.

Here is everything you need to know in order to listen to Detroit Lions games on the radio this season.

In 2005, Miller succeeded Mark Champion who called play from 1989 to 2004. Meanwhile, Brown, a former Lions offensive tackle is a seven-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champion with a long NFL career, joined the broadcast team in 2018.

Lang, another former Lions offensive lineman, played 10 seasons in the NFL, eight with the Green Bay Packers and two with Detroit, before retiring in 2019 due to injuries. He joined the broadcast team in 2021, completing the trio.
