Amon-Ra St. Brown's injury status update

The Lions began the second half of the game against the Packers without St. Brown. Detroit then announced that he was ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Following the game, head coach Dan Campbell addressed questions regarding St. Brown. He indicated that he doesn't consider it a "long, long-term injury,", but acknowledged the wide receiver might be sidelined for "a week or two.". Campbell further stated he'd have more information on Friday, though his next official media session isn't until Monday, meaning any further updates might be delayed until after the weekend.

Two teammates rolled up St. Brown's lower legs, causing him to fall awkwardly and remain on the ground. Upon rising, he was assisted off the field and immediately transported to the locker room for evaluation.

St. Brown is expected to be sidelined for a week or more, per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. His ailment won't necessitate placement on the injured reserve.

2Jameson Williams
3Kalif Raymond -- OUT
4Isaac TeSlaa
5Dominic Lovett
6Tom Kennedy

St. Brown stands out as the Lions' undisputed top wide receiver. Should he be unable to play, Detroit will lose an additional receiving option, and the team's depth will become strained with Raymond already sidelined for the matchup.

Williams is a gifted wide receiver, whose primary asset is his speed. He's recognized for his ability to stretch defenses vertically, and he thrives with a teammate like St. Brown operating on the opposite flank.

TeSlaa is a rookie to keep an eye on as he steps up. Though some fans recognize him for his distinctive surname, he's already made some memorable catches during his career. A third-round pick for Detroit this year, TeSlaa comes from Arkansas.

The Lions offense will take a hit if St. Brown can't return, but it could just mean a shift in the gameplan. With the dynamic duo of Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery, the Detroit offense could lean even more into the run.
