This was supposed to be about RJ Harvey.

The talented rookie running back had the runway cleared for him with the Denver Broncos in Week 11.

J.K. Dobbins has been placed on Injured Reserve. A tough timeshare would be no longer.

But that's not how it worked.

Why is Jaleel McLaughlin playing more than RJ Harvey?

McLaughlin was a surprise.

He had to get activated this week after Dobbins was deactivated.

McLaughlin leapfrogged Tyler Badie on the depth chart.

He even got a goal-line carry in which he vultured a touchdown from Harvey.

Down the stretch, it seems Harvey is out there more.

But clearly, the Broncos like McLaughlin too.
