Denver Broncos have six ways to clinch playoff berth going into Week 15 image

The Denver Broncos are in position to clinch a playoff berth going into their Week 15 game against the Green Bay Packers.

The Broncos enter the week in first place in the AFC West by two games and they are in the top spot in the conference playoff picture.

While Denver can punch its ticket to the postseason this week, they cannot wrap up the division or top seed in the conference just yet.

The NFL revealed the playoff-clinching scenarios for the Broncos ahead of their Week 15 matchup against the Packers and it shows the Broncos can clinch a postseason spot no matter the result of their game.

Here's the full rundown:

Denver Broncos playoff-clinching scenarios

1. Denver wins

2. Denver tie and Los Angeles Chargers loss

3. Denver tie and Jacksonville Jaguars loss

4. Denver tie and Houston Texans loss or tie

5. Denver tie and Indianapolis Colts loss or tie

6. Texans loss or tie and Colts loss or tie (both games can't end in a tie, though)

The Chargers will meet the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead, while the Jaguars will square off against the New York Jets in Duval. The Texans, meanwhile, draw a matchup against the Arizona Cardinals at home.

If the Broncos make the playoffs, it will be the second straight year in which they do so.

A division title, which cannot be clinched by Denver this week, would be Denver's first since 2015, when the Broncos were also the No. 1 seed and won the Super Bowl.
